Innovation Associate 

Your role will range from sales to client management to deliver scale-up and innovation programmes to support cohorts of scale-ups focussing on the most cutting-edge and disruptive technologies in the B2B space through a combination of business development workshops, connections to corporate decision makers and other senior stakeholders. This includes working closely with the founders of the scale-ups, in order to help them gain commercial traction and grow. This is a client facing role.

The job description identifies the roles and responsibilities of the employee though it is not limited to those specific areas listed below:

  • Market analysis into specific industries to identify disruptive themes and then target the key areas.

  • Scale-up prospecting and outreach: Identifying and speaking to global scale-up founders and management teams to assess relevance, sell our programme benefits and ultimately qualify them as an option for our programmes.

  • Vetting startup propositions, growth metrics and assessing pitch decks.

  • Liaising with the Programmes team (GrowthBuilders and Corporate clients) to relay information, company overviews and recommendations, producing overview packs to stakeholders.

  • Building corporate relationships and developing pipeline for other corporate innovation programmes.

  • Building relationships with the innovation ecosystem (start-ups, accelerators, funds and large organisations) to attract high quality companies and executives to the programme and bringing these executive relationships back into the firm.

  • Articulating GrowthBuilders’ value proposition and promoting GrowthBuilders and partner services to generate referrals and help the companies navigate. 

  • Tracking key metrics to capture success stories and maintaining relationships with alumni and wider population of applicants and executives.

  • Event management: organisation promotion, marketing of high profile events

  • Facilitate and attend the masterclasses on sales, marketing, team, product, operations and fundraising.

  • Working day-to-day with the GrowthBuilders Management team
