Innovation Associate 

GrowthBuilders are looking for a recent graduate that will be working across sales, client management and delivery of scale-up innovation programmes. The role will support scale-up and corporate collaboration around the most cutting-edge and disruptive technologies in the B2B space and involves development workshops and co-creation with corporate decision makers and senior stakeholders. This role works closely with the founders of the scale-ups, to drive commercial traction.

Typical roles and responsibilities include:

  • Market analysis into specific industries to identify disruptive themes and then target the key areas.

  • Scale-up prospecting and outreach: Identifying and speaking to global scale-up founders and management teams to assess value propositions, articulate programme benefits and ultimately qualify a good fit.

  • Vetting scale-up propositions, growth metrics, pitch decks and business plans.

  • Running team meetings (GrowthBuilders and Corporate clients) to relay information, company overviews and recommendations, producing overview analysis for stakeholders.

  • Building corporate relationships and developing pipeline for other corporate innovation programmes.

  • Building relationships with the innovation ecosystem (start-ups, accelerators, funds and large organisations)

  • Tracking key delivery metrics, success stories and maintaining relationships with alumni and wider applicants and corporate executives.

  • Event management: organisation promotion, marketing of high profile events

  • Facilitate masterclasses on sales, marketing, team, product, operations and fundraising.

  • Working day-to-day with the GrowthBuilders Management team

Ideal candidate:

 

  • Recent Graduate with no more than 1-2 years professional work experience

  • A creative problem solver that can clearly articulate ideas and recommendations

  • Analytical and diligent when assessing business models and value propositions

  • Track record of being a proactive top performer

  • Curious mindset who enjoys forward thinking and constantly learning

  • Passion for innovation and working with startups

  • Attention to detail and good working knowledge of powerpoint
